Wells Fargo Lead Labor Relations Consultant – Lead Business Execution Consultant in DALLAS, Texas

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Labor Relations Consultant (Lead Business Execution Consultant) to be part of the Human Resources Labor Relations team. This team is responsible for strategy, implementation, oversight and maintenance of Wells Fargo Labor Relations practices and policies. The lead consultant will support lines of business and key stakeholders with resources to help lead through union activity and prepare the organization to effectively operate in a partially unionized environment.

The Lead Labor Relations Consultant is a key position within the Labor Relations team supporting labor relations needs including manager training, campaign management, collective bargaining, and compliance with organized labor requirements. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a broad labor relations skill set to be a strong individual contributor within the Labor Relations team on the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of key projects.

In this role you will:

  • Engage with managers across the organization, including newly unionized teams, to educate, support, and ensure compliance with organized labor requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to prepare for contract negotiations, administration, arbitration, and grievance resolution; this includes in-depth research, proposal drafting, contract drafting, and communication. Implement and administer negotiated labor agreements.

  • Interface with union representatives to build effective labor-management relations.

  • Collaborate with partners in human resources and the business to appropriately respond to escalations from union representatives.

  • Partner and consult with the Labor Relations leaders, team, and key partners in the planning, organization and facilitation of Labor Relations initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

  • Serve in a specialist, liaison capacity representing Labor Relations expertise across Human Resources Line of Business and Risk, Control and middle office functions.

  • Anticipate, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions across change efforts.

  • Demonstrate flexibility to deliver cross functionality and adapt to changes in responsibilities, tasks and work alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Labor Relations experience in an organized environment and/or Labor Law expertise.

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with collective bargaining, grievance processes, contract administration, and labor and management relationships. Commensurate experience achieved through education, military experience, human resources management or leadership in a union setting is acceptable.

  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws such as ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), NLRA National Labor Relations Act

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels from executive to front-line employees.

  • Experience with corporate labor campaigns and the union organizing process.

  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail.

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, including senior levels and drive decision making through a collaborative process approach.

  • Ability to create and deliver well-articulated communications (e.g., PowerPoint presentations and emails) applying appropriate level of content and detail dependent upon audience and intent.

  • Ability to motivate and influence groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
