Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Post-Doctoral Researcher with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining a Pulsed Laser Deposition ( PLD ) tool. Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in 3D modeling using COMSOL / ANSYS , biomaterials synthesis and compacting, and demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills. Experience with laboratory automation and sensor development is also required. As well as maintenance, support and sustenance of laser tools for research work. This is a 1-year term, soft-funded position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience with Pulsed Laser Deposition ( PLD ) tools.
Proficiency in 3D modeling and simulation using COMSOL and ANSYS .
Strong background in biomaterials synthesis and compacting techniques.
Experience with laboratory automation and sensor development.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in interdisciplinary research projects.
Familiarity with additional material characterization techniques.
Knowledge of advanced data analysis software and programming languages.
