Job Title: Production Supervisor 1st Shift

Job Description

As a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of food manufacturing lines. Your role includes supervising a team of 50-60 employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing activities in an assigned area of a food production plant.

• Supervise 50-60 employees to ensure efficient production processes.

• Maintain safe environment by supporting Food and Workplace Safety Rules and Regulations.

• Ensure assigned lines meet production and exceptional quality goals.

• Recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.

• Communicate issues timely to production management.

• Provide training opportunities and development tools for production staff.

• Enforce safe work practices.

• Spend 90% of work time on the floor.

Work Environment

You will work in a team of 50-60 employees on each shift. The position requires wearing steel-toe boots. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays (2-3 per year). Shifts may be up to 10 or 12 hours depending on the workload, with February to October being the busy season. Shift hours are: 1st shift: 5:30 am – 3:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
