Job Description:
Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with extensive personal injury experience to support one of our client’s attorneys in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and handle all aspects of litigation and trial preparation. This is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong communication and drafting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including attending trials and handling trial logistics.
Draft formal communications with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.
Perform legal research using LexisNexis and prepare summaries of findings.
Prepare and file documents in both state and federal courts.
Draft responses to discovery, responsive pleadings, and documents for production.
Calculate and manage state and federal pleading and discovery deadlines.
Issue DWQs for medical and billing records, Open Records Requests, and FOIA requests.
Draft and summarize medical records and deposition summaries.
Maintain and manage a busy docket, calendaring deadlines and court dates.
Prioritize competing deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all required documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 10 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on personal injury.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with docket management and calendaring systems.
Legal Expertise: Experience filing in state and federal courts, drafting pleadings, and conducting legal research.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) preferred.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Trial Experience: Hands-on experience with trial preparation and execution.
Preferred Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience with issuing discovery and managing document production.
Compensation:
The compensation package will be competitive and based on experience.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
