Job Title: Paralegal – Personal Injury Focus

Job Description:

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with extensive personal injury experience to support one of our client’s attorneys in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and handle all aspects of litigation and trial preparation. This is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong communication and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including attending trials and handling trial logistics.

  • Draft formal communications with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.

  • Perform legal research using LexisNexis and prepare summaries of findings.

  • Prepare and file documents in both state and federal courts.

  • Draft responses to discovery, responsive pleadings, and documents for production.

  • Calculate and manage state and federal pleading and discovery deadlines.

  • Issue DWQs for medical and billing records, Open Records Requests, and FOIA requests.

  • Draft and summarize medical records and deposition summaries.

  • Maintain and manage a busy docket, calendaring deadlines and court dates.

  • Prioritize competing deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all required documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 10 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on personal injury.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with docket management and calendaring systems.

  • Legal Expertise: Experience filing in state and federal courts, drafting pleadings, and conducting legal research.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) preferred.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Trial Experience: Hands-on experience with trial preparation and execution.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Experience with issuing discovery and managing document production.

Compensation:

The compensation package will be competitive and based on experience.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
