Position Overview

Position Overview: Help ensure needle bond product quality through testing, inspection, verification and effective communication of findings. This position reports to the Quality Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to Quality Tech Lead and QE Manager to resolve quality issues.

  • Perform routine testing on finished/WIP goods.

  • Perform routine testing of incoming raw materials

  • Properly document all testing results, communicating any OOS results immediately.

  • Occasionally, inspect returned material or samples from claims and assist in making decisions relative to disposition.

  • Assist the Q.E. Manager in keeping the department operating efficiently.

    • Help maintain a records, maintaining corporate requirements for record retention.

    • Be able to make decisions, problem-solve and communicate well with others.

  • Attendance is an essential function of the job. Must comply with corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy.

    Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk up to eight (8) hours a day.

  • Must be able to bend and stretch approximately numerous times a day.

  • Must be capable of lifting, stacking, or moving cartons of floor covering and associated items weighing approximately 90 pounds each.

  • Must be able to see small numbers and letters as displayed by the computer screen.

  • Must meet vision requirements.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
