Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer responsible for cradle-to-grave project implementation. You will design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical elements of projects from design to completion.

• Create, develop, and manage electrical systems and components.

• Design electrical control panels.

• Order materials as needed.

• Develop and refine current standards.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ideally electrical) from an ABET accredited university with 2+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree in Engineering (ideally electrical) with 4+ years of experience.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.

• Experience with electrical design and integration using AutoCAD.

• Experience in electrical engineering, electrical design, and electrical schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and HMI programming software would be a plus.

Work Environment

The company is a smaller, privately owned entity with management onsite. The company has its own brick-and-mortar facility where engineers will spend a significant amount of time conceptualizing and engineering. The company services a variety of industries, including agriculture, grain handling, chemical processing, metals, discrete manufacturing, and pet foods. The position is hourly, with overtime eligibility for any hours worked over 40. Benefits include 6 paid holidays, 2-3 weeks of vacation, a 401k plan, and strong healthcare coverage and insurance. Engineers are given autonomy and ownership of projects from start to finish.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00
