Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
Provide Tier 3 instruction in math for students on plans as formed by the SIT team.
Participate in IEP's, MTSS meetings, Collaborative Teacher Teams, committee meetings, and parent conferences.
Establish and maintain high standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a structured, positive learning climate in the classroom implementing PBIS and Boys Town Well Managed Classroom strategies.
Maintain high academic and behavioral standards for all students.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and encourage parent involvement.
Strong technological skill set.
Maintain a system for Tier III interventions through the MTSS data collection process.
Monitor system for evaluating academic needs of Tier III students to ensure expected level of progress is maintained by collaborating with teacher innovator and teachers.
Meet with a TLCS innovator, special education teacher, and classroom teachers to analyze data and design instruction to meet the needs of TIER III students; provide support to Collaborative Teacher Teams.
Progress monitor collection based on individual student plans.
Attend BSAT/PBIS and SIT meetings to review building data and assist in the implementation of MTSS and district approved intervention materials.
Successful candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
Successful candidates must be willing to support the Harrison Growing Excellence Plan/ESSA Plan/Title 1 plan.
Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.

Funding for this position is not guaranteed from year to year. This is a Temp at Will position and pays $28/hr.
