Insight Global Transformer Project Manager (California) in Davis, California

Job Description

  • Lead all phases of projects from inception through completion and be financially responsible to overall project performance. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, to be used between customer and partners

  • Establish achievements and supervise alignment to master plans and schedules. Review and fully understands the projects agreement/contract, specifications, clarification and exceptions, scope of work, budgets, and allowances prior to commencement. Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract

  • Monitor project progress, cost of labor, material, and efficiency for project control and provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO. Lead transformer D&T and warranty projects as needed from inception through completion, and be financially responsible to overall project performance

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion

  • Review proposals and contract orders for accuracy and risk assessment

  • Provide project revenue and profit forecasts as part of regular project status updates. Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status. Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract

  • Territory between Bakersfield and Sacramento, CA

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical discipline from an accredited university or college. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification with advanced knowledge of project management processes & tools preferred.

  • 6-10 Years of experience construction Project Managment experience

  • Transformer/Substation background

    • PMP Certificate null
