We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in working with various tools and equipment. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform electrical tasks effectively.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes during all work performed.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong understanding of high voltage systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical installations.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
