Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the non-profit industry located in DAYTON, Ohio. This role involves the management of accounts payable, the reconciliation of accounts, and the processing of invoices. You will also be required to run checks and ensure the accurate entry of data.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable function to ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.

• Ensure all invoices are coded correctly before processing.

• Perform check runs to process payments for vendors and suppliers.

• Enter data accurately to maintain updated and accurate financial records.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets and financial reports.

• Use Yardi software for property management and accounting tasks.

• Prepare financial reports to provide an overview of the organization's financial status.

• Manage accounts receivable to ensure that all payments are received and properly recorded.

• Process invoices for payment in an efficient and timely manner. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within a non-profit organization

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in performing Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Experience with Yardi software is preferred

• Ability to produce accurate Financial Reports

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
