Dayton Children's Hospital Supervisor- Central Sterile Supply in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Central Sterile SupplySchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Working Supervisor is a knowledgeable resource in Central Sterile Supply. They are responsible the oversight of the cleaning, assembly, sterilization and distribution of instrument sets, as well as the assembly and distribution of case carts for Surgery. Duties also include equipment cleaning, along with maintaining accurate records of sterilization and biological testing. The Supervisor is responsible for complying with an effective hospital wide program for the prevention and control of infection. This position will collaborate interdepartmentally, with primary focus on surgery, but also with other nursing units, as well as the clinics within the organization. In addition, this position provides education and ensures processes are maintained by the CSS staff and ensures that the staff are following the regulatory bodies and department/house wide policies.
