Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour, based on experience, plus overtime opportunities Job Summary: As an Environmental Lab Technician, your key role is to support daily lab operations efficiently and accurately. You will handle tasks such as preparing reagents, organizing supplies, and logging samples. This role includes opportunities to contribute to specialized analyses to enhance lab productivity, all while adhering to detailed protocols and escalating any issues to the Laboratory Manager. Key Responsibilities: Sample Management: Accurately label, log, and process incoming samples. Lab Organization: Maintain a clean and organized lab environment. Analysis Preparation: Prepare reagents and testing media following lab protocols. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on lab instruments and workspaces. Documentation: Record work meticulously and compile data for lab reports. Specialized Analysis: Conduct specific analyses as directed by the Laboratory Manager. Compliance: Report any non-conformances to the QAM and Laboratory Manager. Additional Duties: Support other lab tasks and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, biochemistry, or a related scientific field. Experience: Prior laboratory experience preferred, with knowledge of lab safety protocols. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently General knowledge of laboratory operations and safety protocols Why Alliance?
