JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of trailer repairs Perform preventative maintenance on trailers Perform DOT inspections on trailers Inspect, trouble shoot, and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts Test all systems and equipment for performance issues Compile inspection reports, document repairs and report findings to manager Use and promote industry best practices Maintain and promote a safe work environment Use and promote PPE and the use of safety equipment Assist Service Manager as needed Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred Basic set of tools Previous experience preferred Computer skills High mechanical aptitude Strong interpersonal skills Welding or fabrication experience preferred Forklift experience preferred Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, squat repetitively and for long periods of time Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of trailer repair work Assist Service Manager and/or Shop Foreman as needed Driving Requirements: Driving is a duty of this job Driver\'s License (Required) ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: ncutility.com/careers
