Job Description
We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our fabrication department on the 2nd shift. This role involves assisting throughout the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality production in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Candidates will initially train on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift, which runs from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Operate various machines as part of the fabrication process.
Perform grinding tasks.
Load sand into the blaster.
Maintain general housekeeping standards.
Drive forklifts and handle materials.
Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.
Proficiency with CNC machines, including mills and machining.
Ability to load and offload materials efficiently.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Familiarity with inspection tools like calipers.
Work Environment
Work in a large manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards typical of a high-traffic, heavy machinery environment. Work hours may vary by department and are subject to change with prior notice from management.
