Shift is: M-F 7AM 3:30PM at Operations & Maintenance. Repairs and replaces thermostats, relays, pumps and related equipment; Operates and maintains boiler plants. Responds to work orders related to kitchen and HVAC Systems; Troubleshoots and repairs issues with HVAC-R systems and commercial kitchen equipment; Keeps maintenance records; Purchases repair parts, supplies, and equipment; May perform work in other trades as needed

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: Two years of skilled maintenance work experience in all aspects of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems (HVAC-R) including boiler operations & maintenance. Knowledge of NYS Boiler inspections, requirements and procedures. Educational degree, an EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification (Universal Technician); Good communication skills, computer literate, and experience with Building Management Systems a plus. Highly motivated with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow oral and written instructions from supervisors; Willingness to perform routine maintenance and other manual tasks; Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; Thoroughness; Attention to detail; Dependability; Good physical condition. A valid NYS Drivers license is required.
