Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Electrical Focus) Location: Denton, TX Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical focus to join our team at the Denton, TX corrugated sheet feeder plant. In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, including motors, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and PLC systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. What You Will Do:

  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

  • Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery, including shafts, bearings, valves, belts, pulleys, chains, gearboxes, and pumps.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including PLCs, motors (A/C & D/C), drives, encoders, and control systems.

  • Work with mechanical equipment, including conveyors and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

  • Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications for installations.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for repairs.

  • Collaborate with operations associates to prioritize maintenance needs.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

  • Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines, actively participating in safety programs.

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve equipment reliability.

  • Work in challenging conditions, including hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.

  • Be available to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, or a 2-year mechanical maintenance degree.

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and PLC systems.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and precision measurements.

  • Experience troubleshooting bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pulleys, and shafts.

  • Proficient in using computers for record-keeping and documentation.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Associate degree or two years of study in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology.

  • Experience with fabricating, torch cutting, and arc welding.

Salary: Starting at $30.00+ per hour, plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.

 Repairing, installing, adjusting/aligning, and testing industrial machinery and mechanical

equipment using hand and power tools and various test equipment

 Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and working with:

o PLCs

o HMIs

o A/C & D/C motors

o Up to 480 motors

o Drives

o Encoders

o Resolvers

o Control systems

o Bearings

o Gearboxes

o Drive systems

  • Performing periodic maintenance to improve machine reliability and uptime

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing equipment per plant policies

  • Working with motors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, conveyors, and production equipment

  • Troubleshooting electrical and PLC systems

  • Reading diagrams and manuals for installations

  • Using hand/power tools and precision instruments

  • Collaborating with operations to prioritize maintenance needs

  • Maintaining accurate logs for maintenance activities

  • Adhering to safety and environmental policies

  • Willing to work any shift, including weekends and overtime

The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment

  • manual lifting up to 40lbs

  • working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

  • working weekends
