Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager or two Assistant Project Manager candidates to work on ground-up and tenant improvement projects. Candidates should have experience working on ground-up commercial projects at a general contractor.
Responsibilities
Manage ground-up commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality control standards.
Develop and manage project estimates, pricing, and budget controls using estimating software.
Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely progress of construction activities.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project specifications are met.
Utilize Bluebeam and other construction management tools to track project progress and documentation.
Collaborate closely with the project team, maintaining strong communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management, specifically in ground-up commercial construction.
Proficiency in construction estimating and project scheduling.
Experience with subcontractor management and supervision.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures.
Familiarity with Bluebeam and other construction management software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on commercial renovations, tenant and landlord improvements, core and shell building, or civil projects.
Ability to manage and run projects with a small project team.
Proficiency in both negotiated and hard bid work.
Work Environment
This is a full in-office role with no option for hybrid work, requiring face-to-face collaboration. The company culture is family-oriented and tight-knit, offering opportunities for advancement. The work involves a balance of negotiated and hard bid projects, with a preference for candidates experienced in hard bid work. The company does not consider candidates with multifamily or residential construction experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
