Description of Job

The Work Unit: The Fiscal Services Unit is under the direction of division’s fiscal officer and member of The Division’s senior management team. This Unit supports all Division activities with budget execution, grants and contract management, cash fund management, ensuring proper procurement of goods and services, and financial assurance. In addition, the unit ensures all programs and staff are compliant with Colorado fiscal rules, procurement code(s), and department policies. Additionally, the Unit supports legislative activities by developing fiscal notes for introduced bill and coordinates with division senior leadership and other Unit and program managers to ensure new legislative initiatives have the appropriate resources for implementation.

Summary of Position:

This position works within the fiscal unit as a contract administrator to develop and implement program-specific solutions to complex procurement and contracting needs. Duties include providing direction to program staff in the procurement of complex technical and personal services; developing, negotiating and amending division contracts (in compliance with federal and state requirements); monitoring and troubleshooting contract documents; developing, implementing, and periodically providing input for the revision of division-specific policies and procedures for contracts and procurement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Only:

Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position.

OR

Education and Experience:

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to six (6) years.

You must meet one of the above options. This experience must be substantiated within the Work Experience section of your application.   • Previous experience with contract monitoring or contract management.

  • Previous customer service experience.

    Appeal Rights:
