POSITION SUMMARY

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play an important supporting role in the overall maintenance and groundskeeping tasks of the factory such as in-depth repairs, sanitation, and aesthetics. You will work extensively within all areas of building maintenance including plumbing, building electrical, repairing walls and floors, HVAC, and more.

In this role you will also provide back-up coverage to the Boiler Operators to ensure safe, continuous operations of industrial steam boilers. You will receive thorough training and the opportunity to advance through the pay progression for Boiler Operators (Maintenance Technicians).

This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair including use of multimeter as well as other appropriate tools and safety measures.

• Plumbing including installation and repair of PVC, copper lines, and more.

• Cleaning, adjusting, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment within a large facility.

• Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs related to the factory building and grounds.

• Effectively utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System manage work orders, deadlines, locate parts and equipment history, and add notes with adequate detail.

• Complete special projects such as designing, welding, and installing guards. Complete Preventative Maintenance work as directed such as dust collector sock changes.

• Work with steam boilers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, fire suppression systems, pumps, and cooling towers.

• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.

The starting hourly pay for this position is $39.38 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
