Position: GSE Mechanic
Location: Denver, Colorado, 80249, United States
Pay Rate: $28.50 - $33.50 per hour based on experience
Type: Contract-to-Hire (3 months with potential for extension)
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday)
3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am (Monday-Friday)
Weekend Shift: Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, "Day Shift" options available (6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm)
Job Description: Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment? Join our team at Denver International Airport as a GSE Mechanic! In this role, you will:
· Repair and service a variety of vehicles and equipment, including tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.
· Maintain heavy machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
· Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine necessary repairs.
· Troubleshoot issues and schedule regular maintenance.
· Maintain a clean and safe repair shop, track inventory of parts and tools, and keep a repair log for vehicles and equipment.

Additional Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Previous related experience preferred
· On-the-job training provided
· Must be physically able to access vehicles either by kneeling or lying on back
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Work Environment:
· Must be able to work part of each day in the Colorado elements, with approximately 30% of time spent outdoors
· No overtime required
· Must be willing to work either Saturday or Sunday, as well as holidays
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $33.50
