Essential Job Duties:
Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner
Use order sheets to accurately select cases of product
Build pallets of product according to company standards
Load trailers in a safe and organized manner
Perform cleaning and general housekeeping tasks each night
Perform Letdowns accurately in a timely manner
Fill out all paperwork accurately and completely
Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
Follow all OSHA safety regulations
Communicate inaccuracies with Leads and Supervisors
Follow all Empire Packing/Denver Processing policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Ability to speak, read and write English
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work 40+ hour work weeks
Ability to work in 32⁰ and below environment
Ability to make quick and decisive decisions: good judgment and common sense required
Attention to detail
Good math skills
Ability to follow directions
Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to obtain a forklift and pallet jack license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and kneel repeatedly for long periods of time
