Essential Job Duties:

  • Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner

  • Use order sheets to accurately select cases of product

  • Build pallets of product according to company standards

  • Load trailers in a safe and organized manner

  • Perform cleaning and general housekeeping tasks each night

  • Perform Letdowns accurately in a timely manner

  • Fill out all paperwork accurately and completely

  • Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards

  • Follow all OSHA safety regulations

  • Communicate inaccuracies with Leads and Supervisors

  • Follow all Empire Packing/Denver Processing policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to speak, read and write English

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work 40+ hour work weeks

  • Ability to work in 32⁰ and below environment

  • Ability to make quick and decisive decisions: good judgment and common sense required

  • Attention to detail

  • Good math skills

  • Ability to follow directions

  • Display strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Ability to obtain a forklift and pallet jack license

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and kneel repeatedly for long periods of time
