Description

Robert Half has partnered with a retail and distribution company in N. Denver in search of a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant position is paying $55,000-$65,000!

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.

• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

• Process customer credit card payments.

• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.

• Create check runs for AP Payments as well as pay vendors by credit cards.

• Calculates and reports use tax based on paid invoices.

• Enter general ledger entries

• Daily bank reconciliations.

• Assist with the weekly borrowing base reporting.

• Assist with external auditors to gather information upon request.

• Assist with month end and year end close.

Requirements for the Staff Accountant include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1+ years of accounting experience
