Company Overview: Causley Trucking is a family-owned and operated company based in Detroit. We maintain a fleet of semi-trucks, straight trucks, dry van trailers, and service vehicles. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and qualified Diesel Technician to join our team.

Position: Diesel Technician

Location: Detroit

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet, including semi-trucks, straight trucks, dry van trailers, and service vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ESA, Davie4, Insite, and JPRO to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance services, including annual inspections, mileage-based maintenance (e.g., oil changes), and lubrication.
• Work collaboratively with team members across multiple terminals to support and resolve equipment issues.
• Report completed repairs to the Maintenance Director

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Class A endorsement.
• Possess a complete set of tools.
• Strong computer and engine diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, after-treatment systems, and engine components (including internal components and replacement).
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Welding and cutting torch skills are a plus but not required.
