Job Title: Dock Coordinator
Job Description
We are in search of a Dock Coordinator capable of coordinating incoming goods to the proper location and ensuring products arrive on schedule. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in inventory control with knowledge in logistics or supply chain.
Responsibilities
Coordinate incoming goods to the proper location.
Ensure products arrive on schedule.
Manage inventory control tasks.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
Operate forklift as needed.
Communicate with supply chain planners and supervisors to track incoming products.
Handle material handling, shipping and receiving tasks.
Conduct cycle counts and manage warehouse inventory.
Navigate and log products within SAP systems.
Essential Skills
1-3 years experience in inventory control.
Knowledge in logistics or supply chain.
Basic computer knowledge – Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Functional production/Inventory knowledge.
Basic understanding of mathematics (multiplication, division, average, and percentage calculations).
Forklift experience.
Good organizing skills and detail-oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years experience with shipping and receiving or inventory control in a tier 1 facility.
Knowledge of ASN's and BOL's.
Knowledge of scanning systems.
Experience working with multiple docks and incoming trucks (up to 40+ incoming trucks per day).
2+ years experience with SAP systems.
Ability to navigate and log product within SAP systems.
Understanding of Ford supply chain systems (CMMS3, EDDL).
2+ years using Excel within an automotive environment.
Navigating graphs and charts within Excel.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
