Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Detroit, Michigan. This role falls within the healthcare industry and involves handling data related to medical services. The workplace will require a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks, customer service, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and manage medical data using various systems such as Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), EHR SYSTEM, IBM AS/400, and McKesson.

• Administer billing functions and claim administration in a timely and efficient manner.

• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries and issues related to patient data.

• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed within the required timelines and in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Maintain and update patient records and medical databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting.

• Conduct high-volume data entry tasks, ensuring speed without compromising data accuracy.

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to data entry and customer interactions.

• Monitor patient accounts, taking necessary actions as needed based on account status.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless and efficient data management processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400

• Familiarity with McKesson software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in billing functions

• Knowledge of claim administration procedures
