Deloitte SAP TM (Transportation Management) Consultant in Detroit, Michigan

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

You will be responsible for configuring the SAP Transportation Management (TM) module based on business requirements along with conducting unit testing, integration testing, and facilitating user acceptance testing.

  • Resolve issues that arise in the SAP TM Business area.

  • Provide functional support for the SAP TM module, including troubleshooting, problem analysis, and solution delivery.

  • Manage incident tickets related to SAP TM. Analyze issues, provide solutions, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Implement changes that enhance system performance and user experience.

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP TM functionalities and best practices. Provide ongoing user support to ensure optimal use of the system.

  • Document all support activities, create incident reports, and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

  • Develop your knowledge and gain project experience in SAP's newest and future solutions.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients' needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years working as a SAP TM Consultant

  • 3+ years working with Order Integration (Sales orders, Purchase Orders, Stock Transfer Orders, Outbound/Inbound Deliveries)

  • 3+ years working experience with EWM Integration

  • 3+ years working with TM Enterprise Structure

  • 3+ years working with Freight Unit Building & Package Building

  • 3+ years working with VSR optimization, Load Planning, Selection Profile, Planning Profile etc.

  • 3+ years working with Freight Planning of Outbound and Inbound Scenarios, Planning process modelling,

  • 3+ years working with Charge Management and Charge Calculation.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Position will be Hybrid and will require more onsite work for the first few months

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,000-$137,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
