Accenture LLP Systems Engineering Associate Manager in Detroit, Michigan

Systems Engineering Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Detroit, MI): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Systems Engineering Associate Manager in Detroit, MI, and the job duties are as follows:

 

  • Capture and document customer needs for features under development.
  • Develop and validate Functional Architecture with cross functional teams.
  • Lead delivery of product through Product Development Vee Cycle.
  • Develop and manage requirements to implement at domains, systems, subsystems, and components level.
  • Assure feature compatibility with other features and/or functions and lead smooth integration with various sub systems.
  • Develop technical feature specifications and support interface documentation and owner's manual.
  • Design Product Development milestone and lead Product Change Request (PCR).
  • Determine requirements for projects, analyze their feasibility, define measurable goals, provide support on prototypes and assessing the need of the requirement using use cases, user stories or graphical tools including UML and SysML diagrams.
  • Develop feature specifications that support output into feature deliverables including SW/HW Safety Requirement Specification, Safety Analysis Report, Aggregate Feature Specification, and Failure Mode Analysis.
  • Maintenance of all Feature Ownership (FO) documents including Feature Document, Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment, Functional Safety Concept, Safety Requirement Specification, Safety V&V, and Software Safety Specification.
  • Manage Feature and Program deliverables in JIRA and Core and Application Feature Owner Services.
  • Provide leadership support to senior management team members by developing strong relationships across organizational levels; scheduling staffing needs, providing training opportunities, supporting projects through mentoring, coaching, etc.
  • Support ongoing learning and development of team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the Consulting industry.

 

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

 

  • Utilizing vehicle communication tools including Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN), and Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST);
  • Developing solutions using CAN modeling and troubleshooting tools including CANoe, Vehicle spy, and CANalyzer;
  • Implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology;
  • Leading Technical Design Review (TDR) and doing Impact Analysis (IA) on design changes;
  • Creating Activity diagrams, Sequence diagrams, Block diagrams and doing Interface analysis;
  • Conducting Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA);
  • Capturing requirements using management systems including DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or VSEM;
  • Developing scripts using programming languages including C, C++, or Python; and
  • Developing features in MBSE tools, including MagicDraw or IBM rational rhapsody, and languages, including UML and SysML.

     

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
