Actalent Wastewater Process Engineer in Detroit, Michigan
Job Title: Wastewater Process EngineerJob Description
This role focuses on all types of Water Treatment and/or Wastewater projects, including Pumping stations and CSO facilities, primarily for municipalities in Southeast Michigan, with potential assignments in Lansing, Grand Rapids, and farther north in Michigan. DUTIES: - Develop and manage designs, drawings, and specifications for industrial development projects - Work in a teaming environment on complex urban infrastructure projects, including storm and sanitary systems, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and headworks - Use a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs, including MS Office, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and Civil 3D - Resolve design and construction problems - Manage budgets and project resources - Develop cost estimates and project schedules - Ensure projects run smoothly and are completed on time - Participate in contract bidding and construction administration - Engage in field investigations to diagnose issues - Develop reports and preliminary concepts - Adapt well to change and seek varied experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Detroit, Michigan and some days remote.
Work Environment
M-F, 40-45 hours/week, mix of office and field work. This position offers a 4-day in the office, 1-day remote optional work schedule. The role can be based out of either the Bloomfield Hills or Detroit office.
