Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift opening (4-10's Wednesday-Saturday) with a 12-hour schedule on weekends from 6am-6pm and weekdays from 6am-4pm. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for industrial equipment repairs, diagnosing and repairing problems with all equipment including conveyors, packaging lines, HVAC, mixers, blenders, pumps, fillers, and working on improvement projects. Additionally, the role involves performing routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure high-quality and safe product production. The Maintenance Mechanic will also handle building/facility maintenance and must document daily downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. Flexibility to work weekends and other shifts as needed is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair industrial equipment issues.

• Work on conveyors, packaging lines, HVAC, mixers, blenders, pumps, and fillers.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.

• Ensure high-quality and safe product production.

• Handle building and facility maintenance.

• Document daily downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with high pressured pasteurizers.

• PLC troubleshooting experience.

• Knowledge of VFDs.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding experience is a plus.

• Previous food and beverage troubleshooting experience.

Work Environment

The facility is a high-end juice production environment, maintained at 36 degrees. It is a GMP environment with a rapidly growing company that has brick and mortar stores and recently acquired a new plant. The team includes three mechanics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dinuba, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
