Serco Business Process Improvement Project Site Leader in District Of Columbia
Position Description
Are you passionate about fostering team cohesion and driving high-performance results? Serco-NA is seekng a skilled Project Lead to support NAVSEA in enhancing business performance and overseeing programs and projects at four Naval Public Shipyards. This involves implementing LEAN processes, delivering program management training, developing integrated product teams, and providing on-site project coaching. Additionally, the role supports environmental, safety, and health programs to ensure compliance and promote best practices, improving efficiency and effectiveness in critical naval maintenance operations.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level DoD Clearance.
In this role, you will:
The Site Lead manages daily site operations, ensures policy compliance, and leads a team to achieve project objectives. Key duties include:
Collaborating with Navy stakeholders to complete leadership-assigned tasks promptly and effectively.
Preparing executive-level updates (slides, dashboards, reports, fact sheets) to summarize program accomplishments.
Responding to leadership data calls and reporting program status.
Coordinating with clients to identify needs and propose solutions.
Providing administrative support to NAVSEA 04X staff and executing engagement-specific tasks.
Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management.
Identifying, addressing, and managing project risks and constraints.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field and a minimum of 4 years in data analytics, process improvement, strategic planning, performance management, and program design within commercial or government organizations (preferably U.S. Navy).
An active Secret Clearance is required to be considered.
Familiarity with NAVSEA 04X structure and processes.
Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in NAVSEA Project Management Fundamentals and industrial applications.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong oral and written communication.
Travel up to 10% is required.

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $114,046.04 to $185,324.50; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
