Job Description

Overview:

Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Manager/Business Analyst to assist one of our utility clients inside of their IT department. This individual will be the first Project Manager on the IT team, supporting technical projects in departments such as engineering, finance, accounting, regulatory and more. Not every day will be the same as projects can range from ERP migrations, ticketing system upgrades, dashboard build outs, new system trainings, and more. A candidate that could communicate effectively with entry level teammate to C suite will be successful in this role, as they are supporting the whole organization.

Day to Day:

* Reporting to the VP of IT and Director of Application, going over project expectations and career goals

* Work with stakeholders in other internal departments to define project scopes, objectives, technologies, and deliverables

* Assist in building a project portal for all projects to be submitted and go through the proper channels of approvals

* Assist in vetting out vendor partners for services and technology

* Working with SQL, Salesforce, Scrum, ETL, SAP, BI, PowerBi, and more

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

* Bachelor's degree in business, compute science, technology, or related field

* 5+ years of professional experience as an IT project manager or a technical business analyst , supporting multiple projects across an organization

* Continuous learner, seeking an organization to help grow their expertise and experience

Plusses

* Knowledge of energy and utilities

* PMP certification or in the process of obtaining

* Scrum project management null
