Team Description
The Organizational Learning Advisor is responsible for advising trainers on best learning practices, developing learning activities in line with learning objectives. They will ensure the successful deployment of training for our production employees.
What are your contributions to the team?
Ensure the integration of new trainers on aspects of Bombardier training processes and standards.
Create a schedule to track instructor evaluations and communicate them to trainers.
Conduct trainer audits during training programs and provide feedback to trainers.
Conduct program audits to ensure that content is consistent with the original program objective and that instructional materials are used appropriately.
Monitor trainer qualification records.
Ensure that trainers have the resources (Sharepoint and materials) needed to deliver training to the expected standards.
Communicate and deploy training changes or new content to trainers.
Assist and advise trainers on pedagogical delivery, in the preparation and delivery of course instruction;
Evaluate each training problem and, if possible, opt for a solution that takes the candidate's development into account.
Prepare, administer and analyze candidate course reviews.
Create and maintain Bombardier School procedures (HSE, Quality, etc.).
With the help of the project team, develop learning solutions for the various projects.
Participate in Dry-Run and "train the trainer" of new learning solutions.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
• You possess a bachelor’s degree in education or training management.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a role in a manufacturing environment.
• You possess exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work.
• You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.
• You have a strong knowledge of learning management systems and a strong command of Microsoft Office.
• You have a strong knowledge of the aerospace manufacturing environment.
• You have a clever way to engage your peers and stakeholders so that they see you as an important partner that meets their needs.
• You foster teamwork by networking, bringing synergy to the team, and mobilizing resources for execution.
• You meet work obligations through effective work habits such as meeting deadlines and showing respect to others.
• You understand and integrate Transport Canada requirements.
