Status: Full Time

Shift: 6 :00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Summary: The Surgical Technician is an unlicensed member of the surgical team who scrubs and/or assists during surgical procedures. This position functions under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Surgical Technician provides direct patient care, for patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric by assisting in the preparation of the patient and environment for the performance of surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have national certification as Certified Surgical Technologist

  • Minimum of one year experience is preferred (non-specific) as a CST

  • Current BLS from the AHA or ARC

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
