About the Role:

This position will be part of the GIS team who maintains and supports Windstream’s fiber and copper network. In this role you will be using Esri based applications to help solve geospatial problems and provide visualization that drives better decision making. You will also be responsible for training and support of these applications for end users.

What You'll Do:

• Produce and modify interactive Webmaps using Esri ArcGIS Portal

• Create static maps in a variety of formats using ArcGIS Pro

• Perform spatial analytics and reporting of GIS records for multiple departments

• Provide support and training for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Portal Webmaps

• Create and modify web services to be consumed within ArcGIS Portal

• Assist in Windstreams GIS data migration.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of GIS experience preferably using Esri products

• Experience in map creation and cartography principles

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multi task and handle several ongoing projects

• Basic telecommunications technical knowledge

• Ability to train peers

• Excellent problem solving abilities

• Highly organized and strict attention to details

Even Better:

• 1-2 years of telecom experience.

• 1-2 years of ArcGIS Enterprise experience. GISP or Esri Technical Certification

• SQL or Python experience

• Bachelor s degree in GIS or related field

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree and 0-3 years professional level experience or 4+ years professional level related experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.

The starting compensation range for this job is $43,500 to $53,800.
