Position Summary:

The Sr. HR Associate is responsible for providing a high-level of HR support to teammates at our Fem Care Manufacturing facility (24/7 operation), with appx 600 teammates located in Dover, DE. Position reports to the Human Resource Manager.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding:

  • Assists the HR Manager in developing hourly recruitment strategy

  • Manages the hourly recruitment process, including attending job fairs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, generating offer letters, managing the pre-employment process, and coordinating and delivering New Hire Orientation.

  • HR Administrative support:

  • Maintains accurate data entry of teammate records into the HRIS RIS (Su(SuccessFactors)

  • Accurately maintains all employee HR records, physical and electronic

  • Tracks attendance using Kronos and keep accurate month end data for reporting

  • Legal Compliance:

  • Ensures legal compliance and mitigates the Company’s risk through having a working understanding of relevant employment laws and follows agreed processes.

  • Tracks/monitors necessary information related to FMLA/STD/I-9 etc.

  • Supports preparation of annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP)

  • Teammate Relations:

  • Serves as first point of contact for day-to-day questions regarding HR policies, and escalate as needed to HR Manager

  • Troubleshoots and resolve various colleague issues

  • Promotes company values in all teammate interactions

  • Plans and promote employee engagement activities

  • Teammate Training and Development:

  • Delivers HR-related training

  • Supports hourly performance management process

  • Collaborates with HR teammates from other locations to promote efficiency and information sharing

  • Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to sensitive issues, records, reports and other related items.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR Administration

  • Ability to maintain a high level of strict confidentiality

  • Working knowledge of HRIS programs

  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

  • Keen attention to detail with the perseverance to see things through to completion.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Drive and desire to question/challenge conventional standards with new ideas and approaches

  • Ability to work off shift/after hours as needed

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
