The MV Partner Engineer is responsible for executing the panel builder partner strategy by efficiently project managing the strategic implementation plan in order to achieve growth objectives. This includes collaborating with an international matrix organisation and in particular, product lines, business development, sales and operations. This person will be responsible for evaluating EMEA region growth opportunities through panel builder partners and establishing effective partnerships to achieve sales objectives in line with segment growth plans. The MV Partner Engineer will manage panel builder selection, evaluation, relationship building, commercial alignment, contracts, growth opportunities, organize partner network communication, partner events, partner tracking, and KPI's.
What you’ll do:
Supporting the selecting of targeted partners in line with ESS and Country Sales Organisation (CSO) criteria for MV panel partners
Responsible for qualification and onboarding partners including training, auditing, supply chain activation and product assortment definition
Ensure all Eaton and partner commitments are achieved inline with contractual and business objectives
Define partner support structure and priorities
Support and enable appropriate country sales organisations to effectively support panel builders both technically and commercially in line with the ESS strategy and market segmentation
Provide application support through design, engineering and assembly efficiency
Responsible for both assembly and manufacturing licenses in EMEA
Work collaboratively with the product lines for partner software and product assortment
Coordinate with local partners about in country qualification of local suppliers to ensure targeted quality
Ensure partners provide after sales support at Eaton standards, take part in commissioning activities, end customer issue resolutions as needed.
Partner with Eaton Finance team to check financial security of partners, support any financial settlement and process
Support sales organizations with visits of panel builders to drive the pre-selection and onboarding process
Liaise and collaborate with partner program manager, partner manager and industrialization, quality and other plant roles and CSO for initial price setting, certification, operational support and business & marketing plans to accelerate partner growth
Provide market and customer feedback to product lines
Qualifications:
Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering or Business
5+ years related experience with external manufacturing business partnerships
Skills:
Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems business products and applications
Project management skills, LV and transformer knowledge for modular applications is preferred
Experience and direct contact and negotiations with customers; global preferred
Demonstrated experience in developing business strategy, planning, and budgeting, analytical skills
Proven leadership skills in a matrix organisation
Experience/Knowledge in setting up and managing partners is a pre-requisite
Experience in managing cross functional teams
International experience in sales & marketing
Solid capability in strategic thinking & change management
Fluent speaking and writing in English, additional language is a plus
Good Communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated, accepts ownership for results, takes initiative
Interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to coordinate collaborate and manage people w/o reporting relationship
