Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Health IT team. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, Chief Medical Officers (CMOs), and other healthcare professionals to design, develop, and implement innovative clinical software solutions, including Oracle Health Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. You will also play a pivotal role in integrating evidence-based medical practices and optimizing clinical workflows into the design of customized applications that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities: -
Software Design & Development
Partner with physicians, CMOs, and clinical staff to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for EHR systems and other healthcare applications.
Lead the design of user-centered software interfaces that enhance clinical workflows and meet regulatory standards.
Develop customized applications tailored to specific healthcare organization needs, ensuring scalability and interoperability with existing systems.
Clinical Workflow Integration
Analyze current clinical workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and automation through software solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate evidence-based medical practices into software applications, ensuring clinical relevance and accuracy.
Design workflows that support efficient documentation, decision support, and patient engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to physicians, CMOs, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to gather feedback and refine solutions.
Build strong relationships with healthcare organizations to understand their evolving needs and provide strategic recommendations.
Project Management & Leadership
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and budget adherence.
Mentor junior consultants and technical teams, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in Health IT, clinical informatics, and healthcare regulations to inform strategic planning.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all software designs comply with healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and interoperability frameworks.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability of developed solutions.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address bugs and improve system performance.
Basic Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience :
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Health IT, clinical software design, or a similar role.
Proven experience working with EHR systems and designing clinical workflows.
Skills :
Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, medical terminology, and evidence-based practices.
Proficiency in software development methodologies, system design, and project management tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Health Millennium clinical applications PowerChart, MPages, Dynamic Documentation, Orders.
Experience working as a consultant supporting physician workflows.
Experience developing custom solutions like custom MPages, Smart Templates etc.
Experience with CCL, HTML, JavaScript
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
