Job Overview:
The Senior Principal Tech Support Specialist completes assignments and directs the work activities of others in the Technical Support discipline. They can solve unique and complex problems and act as a subject matter expert. The Senior Principal Tech Support Specialist can work autonomously within established procedures and practices. The Senior Principal Tech Support Specialist can lead others to solve complex problems and use analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. They directly impact the achievement of customer, operational, or service objectives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Level 2 support and Level 3 Hyperion support resources in the offshore/onshore model (Houston TX and Kolkata India)
This leader and team are responsible for providing functional and technical support to finance users across the globe
Responsible for global support in such areas as actual loading, Forecast modeling, Consolidation and planning, and Management Reporting
Responsible for managing all processes during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of actuals and forecasting
Responsible for supporting the fiancé team responsible for producing the monthly reporting package and narrative for executive management
Responsible for managing obsolescence/software upgrades in the Hyperion suite of products
Day-to-day Management of metadata, data mappings, business rules, substitution variables, etc.
Must be able to work with Hyperion vendor (Oracle) to pursue vendor support when necessary
Support internal and external audits, control reviews, risk assessments, and reporting as required
Track and manage action plans for the resolution of issues identified during assessments and audits
Advocate for and actively promote the success of the ISO certification program
Perform analysis and reporting of compliance gaps
Assist in the implementation of action plans and provide compliance support to projects to improve the performance of IT controls
Work with other departments within IT to obtain the required evidence for SOX controls
Perform analysis on SOX control evidence to ensure all controls have been performed according to the requirements
Work with both internal and external auditors to provide evidence of compliance
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on the risk to company information systems and data
Assess, analyze, and manage cyber risks
Follow up on remediation activities to ensure identified risks are mitigated
Review IT risks and controls to develop improvement plans
Assist with the development of security awareness communications
Assist with the development, improvement, periodic review, and updating of cyber security policies, standards, and procedures
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
ITIL certification preferred
CISSP certification preferred (applicable for security professional)
CCNA certification preferred (applicable for network professional)
5+ years of work experience; work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement met
PMP or Six Sigma certification a plus
The ideal candidate will have a strong finance and accounting background, coupled with a strong track record in administering and implementing Hyperion-related technology projects in large and complex environments
High service level expectations in support of Hyperion Financial Systems and the user community require a strong professional presence
Knowledge about ITSM processes: Incident, Change, Release Management, and Service Level Agreement management
Industry certifications are a definite plus. The highest preference will be given to CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, and CCSP.
3-5 years of experience performing IT Audits or Information Security control assessments
6-8 years of experience in IT (cyber security, IT controls, infrastructure, networking)
Strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF
Experience with GRC tools
Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
Ability to identify cyber risks and recommend or evaluate controls
Strong knowledge of auditing processes/procedures
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives
Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deliverables
Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Competent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead projects and mentor others
Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
Organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of business continuity, contingency planning, and disaster recovery principles
Thorough knowledge of computer, applications, cloud, and networking principles
