Overview
The Mastercard Cyber Security Services team is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to help manage and drive delivery for our Mass Attack Protection Solution suite of services. The ideal candidate is passionate about the people leadership, software architecture, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. They will play a critical leadership role in owning resource management, capabilities and products.

Role
• Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions.
• Identify opportunities to grow your customer portfolio.
• Take responsibility for driving revenue.
• People, recruiting and talent management
• Design and develop high quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts within expected time and budget.
• Manage a team of highly skilled engineers and provide technology leadership to other leaders.
• Drive, manage and take ownership of team’s roadmap – together with Product team – which includes technical/business asks.
• Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings.

• Relevant experience on large, cross-functional IT projects, including requirements gathering and relationship building with business clients.

• Able to lead project teams, collaborate with business partners, vendor/consulting organizations and peer level professionals from other IT disciplines.
• Able to mentor/grow less experienced team members.
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
• Expert communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills
• Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Understanding of SDLC and experience in establishing processes, standards and governance to bring efficiency within development team, together with Agile methodology.
• Always look for potential solutions to solve problems.
