Meta Problem Integrity Operations Manager, Global Operations in Dublin, Ireland

Our Problem Integrity Operations teams are at the forefront of protecting our community through improving the integrity experience for different Meta products - from content like videos and photos to communities like Groups and Pages. The team focuses on understanding, Identifying, and implementing global process improvements and scalable solutions that enable us to prevent bad experiences for the Meta community. We are seeking an experienced leader with a passion for mitigating real world harm and protecting our community of users by working as our next Manager. This Problem Integrity Operations Manager will be responsible for managing an establish impact-oriented team, for providing strategy, direction, coaching, and mentorship to a team of individual contributors, ensuring that we build an in depth understanding of issues impacting our community. The Manager will help shape the team's strategy and long-term vision, devise and drive global goals, and identify opportunities to drive change to help Meta provide the best support for the community. This manager will be required to work closely with partners across Engineering, Policy, and other Meta teams in a fast paced and data-driven environment to drive the optimization of processes and solve challenging problems. This role will primarily focus on reducing harm coming from the areas of adult nudity, sexual solicitation, prostitution, and depiction of graphic content. The role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material I.e., child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

Required Skills:

Problem Integrity Operations Manager, Global Operations Responsibilities:

  1. Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to members of your team, including managers and/or individual contributors

  2. Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

  3. Build relationships with global cross-functional teams to implement next-generation community experiences through process, policy and product improvements

  4. Develop and maintain partnerships with global cross-functional teams including Operations, Policy, Product, and Legal to problem solve and develop solutions

  5. Understand top abuse concerns and other quality or customer insight data, and support your team in making recommendations to improve our product, policies, and procedures to keep the platform safe

  6. Track and analyze key operational and performance metrics, identify trends, and develop solutions to optimize team workflow and introduce new workflows to improve efficiency

  7. Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material.

  8. Communicate process, policy and product concepts effectively to leadership, business and cross-functional partners

  9. Actively engage as a member of a Global Operations global leadership team for cross-cutting operational and people initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience working in large-scale operations, domains such as online operations, informational systems, analytics, product, risk management, or management consulting

  2. Proven track record of successfully creating and managing a highly successful, engaged, and performing team.

  3. Demonstrated experience working with product engineering or technical teams, influencing across functional boundaries or across the globe

  4. Communication: Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally, and experience communicating and influencing across a variety of audiences

  5. Project management / process improvement background

  6. Analytical and problem-solving experience

  2. Understanding of Safety, content moderation and an operations background

  3. Experience working with highly sensitive graphic content

  4. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
