Job Title: Forklift Operator

$15/hr. with a $1.75 shift differential for nights!

*After training- (3 Weeks)- Pay will increase to $16.50 for Day and $18.25 for Nights --> Including Shift Diff of $1.75*

2x - Days Shift Forklift Operators --> (7a-7p)

3x - Night Shift Forklift Operators --> (7p-7a)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator/Material Handler. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the company. The position is available for both day and night shifts, with a pay differential for night work.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and tow motors safely

• Assist in moving materials throughout the plant and various stations

• Work with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Document paperwork when needed while taking inventory counts

• Support other areas as needed and directed by the supervisor

Essential Skills

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment

• Forklift experience required

• Must be able to pass a BG check and drug screen

• Basic computer skills

• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products

• Maintain the production pace of other team members

• Utilize various equipment as needed to perform duties

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Steel toe work boots

• Ability to stand for long periods, typically 12 hours a day

• Engage in repetitive motions, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of materials

• Work in various weather and temperature conditions including extreme heat, humidity, and cold

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing/production facility that is non-climate controlled. When it is hot outside, it can be steamy inside, and when it is cold outside, it is usually comfortable inside due to the heat produced by the machines.

The role requires working a minimum of 40 hours a week, with available shifts from 7am-7pm for day shift and 7pm-7am for night shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.25/hr.
