The Opportunity
CACI is seeking an RF Test Technician who supports our Production Team by testing assemblies and components, performing verification and validation activities, and developing and implementing test fixtures, automated test methodologies, and data collection devices. This position will work closely with Engineering to ensure our tests fully verify the operation of the assembled equipment.

This position will work closely with Engineering to ensure our tests fully verify the operation of the assembled equipment.
Responsibilities:
Gather product requirements such as functionality, size, weight, power and other operating parameters
Determine how to thoroughly test and inspect electrical and electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and full systems to assure conformance to schematics and company and customer specifications; this will involve using a wide array of equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Develop written documents such as SOPs, testing procedures, and equipment safety rules
Troubleshoot digital and RF/mixed-signal circuit cards to the component level
Perform analysis of components to diagnose probable causes of malfunctions or failures, especially where such causes may be directly traceable to the design and recommend to the Engineering Department the required changes
Build automated testing systems where applicable
Fully document technical issues and solutions
Present test records/results in numerical and graphical form to make data-driven decisions
Responsibility for managing all associated laboratory equipment for calibration and preventative maintenance
Ability to interface with all levels of internal management, as well as program sponsors and external contractors on deadlines and deliverable products
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
No clearance is required to begin employment, but you must be eligible (US Citizenship) and able to successfully be sponsored and granted a Security clearance up to TS/SCI.
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical field and 10+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Direct and demonstrated experience in the design, development and debugging of RF systems
Experience with lab equipment (including but not limited to spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
Have a good working knowledge of digital and analog RF circuits
Programming experience with micro-controllers, and embedded Linux
A self-starter with excellent verbal and written skills
Manual dexterity to work with simple hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers and soldering equipment
Programming and troubleshooting digital control circuits along with microwave experience is preferred

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
