Essentia Health Nutrition Food Service -Cook in Duluth, Minnesota
Job Description:
Prepares and cooks quality food for patients, staff, and visitors’ nutritional needs. Determining amounts of foods needed, grocery list preparations, filling supply needs, organizing preparation needs on a daily and weekly basis, cost and work efficiency, and adherence to Department of Health and Department policies. Calculates daily production needs accurately and order appropriately, meeting the needs of patient meal service, cafeteria meals, catering events, and other meals. Follows standardized recipes and assists in their development.Work Experience:Prior cook experience preferred
