Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Compile daily Certified Test Results (CTR’s) utilizing SAP & HFA.
Checks data going into CTRs for accuracy and completeness, reporting discrepancies to appropriate supervisory personnel.
Oversee the preparation of CTR’s for customers who receive CTR’s prior to or after cable shipment by copying, logging, and e-mailing CTR’s for customers.
Maintain Quality Lab paperwork according to company policy for filing and retention.
Oversee Document Control of records and updates for ISO9001 & Nuclear procedures.
Release of product for disposition from QA Hold and assist with recording of data.
Assists the Quality manager and Quality Engineer in scheduling, managing, and maintaining documents in support of the ISO9001:2015 Internal Audit Program.
Assist with collecting data and creating RTFT reports as needed.
Assist with appeals process to include contacting appropriate engineer for actions, tracking of status and disposition of materials in a timely manner.
Assist as needed for any 3rd party testing requirements to include tracking and timely response to customers.
Assist with consolidating information and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Assist with compiling daily tier meeting data that it is arranged for QC supervisors and inspectors.
Support and attend daily Quality Tier meetings as required.
Conduct weekly LPA audits.
Assist with data collection and tracking of LPA audit results.
Communicate in a clear, professional manner when handling calls from customers and/or vendors.
Ensure strict compliance with all testing standards.
Required to operate in an ISO environment which may have specific requirements related to quality, safety, environmental or energy management.
Participates as a Team member on Continuous Improvement or Lean Sigma improvement projects when required.
Working overtime as and when required to meet deadlines for customer requirements.
Additional duties as and when required by the QA Manager.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational & planning skills
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Fluent in English
Familiar with continuous improvement tools (Lean and 6 Sigma)
Proficient with technology such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other standard computer applications
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (oral & written), able to interact with all levels in the organization
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in similar manufacturing facility in the QC department
2+ years of prior experience in SAP.
A.S. degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in-leu.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Works out of a normal manufacturing environment with standard office equipment available.
Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.
Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
