At Pauley Construction , as a Foreman Telecom Aerial , you’ll be responsible for overall safety, materials, reporting, customers, leadership, employee communication, and productivity measures. This position will specifically manage a crew that can oversee a specific set of operations which can include, but not limited to: Trench & Plow, Aerial, Drilling/Bore, Asphalt or Conduit.

What you’ll do as a Foreman Telecom Aerial
Shoveling, digging, handling and operating construction equipment.
Excavation operations including operating equipment and transportation of equipment if needed
General oversight over work direction within a crew or a group of sub-contractors.
General maintenance
General utility installation/repair
Assists with as-builds and ensures attention to detail and high quality work
May assist supervisor in administrative tasks relating to hiring and interviewing employees.
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Minimum, 2 years of work-related experience pertaining to utility construction, telecommunications or laborer related work
Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
Proven leadership experience to direct workflow and produce high quality results
Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.
Additional qualifications
Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions that are provided in written, oral or drawing. Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations involving employees, customers and vendors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts (measurements in terms of distance, proportions, percentages and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules and requirements, machine manuals of operation and process procedures. Ability to write information including reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers, coworkers, vendors and the public.
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: Employee may be standing, walking, climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping a moderate amount of time while on shift.
Occasionally: Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Pay Range: The Foreman Telecom Aerial hourly wage range is $25.00 - $32.00 /hr, depending on experience.
