THE OPPORTUNITY
The AVP, Software Engineering Technical Lead role is a technical leadership role that facilitates design, development, deployment, and maintenance of software product solutions to support the needs of business teams. The incumbent requires the leadership, self-management skills, and initiative to engage with cross functional teams to gather user requirements, define system functionality and implement code in a variety of languages. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Lead and mentor a software delivery team.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
Develop meaningful architectures, designs, implementations, security standards, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote quality.
Participate in scope of work estimation and forecasting.
Administer a variety of tools used in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Execute full software development life cycle.
Develop documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
Develop well-designed, testable code.
Integrate software components into a fully functional system.
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
Document and maintain software functionality.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
Comply with project plans and industry standards.
Ensure software is updated with latest features.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent applied experience is required
8 years in software engineering is required
8 years in .NET and C# is required
5 years in system integrations using file-based, REST API-based, and application library solutions is required
5 years in software development life cycle with Agile development practices is required
3 years in cloud-based services development (AWS or Azure) is required
3 years in DevOps including code repositories, automations, scans, testing, deployment is required
3 years in relational database and SQL is required
3 years in Web standards and frameworks is required
3 years with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment is required
5 years of JavaScript and React library experience preferred
Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure, agile environment and willingness to learn any new technologies
Ability to communicated effectively and collaborate as a team

SALARY RANGE
The full-time base salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $175,000.00 USD a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
