As a Technical Business Analyst and member of the Central Fill Software Implementation team, you will transform project/customer needs and general requirements into actionable and measurable technical requirements for printed materials (prescription labels, etc.), workflows, Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs, reports & analytics, regulatory needs, custom development requests, and more. You will also collaborate with cross functional teams such as Optimization to support ongoing customer optimization activities with data gathering and analysis, Account Management to triage customer requests and communicate status of existing requests, PMO to support active projects, Development/Systems Integration Engineers that configure/code to your requirements, and Sales during scoping and quoting of customer requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for prioritizing, sequencing, and managing the overall list of committed/funded customer requests.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the lifecycle owner and creator of technical requirements and user stories
Participate in requirement elicitation efforts and meetings, validating technical requirements, translating functional business/workflow/process needs into technical requirements for Software Implementation and/or Engineering teams, and document these technical requirements
Map pharmacy processes, generate user stories, work with the sales, implementation and engineering teams to assess the viability and proper selection of technical frameworks, system configuration, report layouts, GUI design, construction of test cases, create requirements trace-ability matrixes, and process engineering and re-engineering
Serve as the champion and advocate of the project/customer to software implementation and/or engineering
Develop a deep understanding of existing product architecture and functionality to use these items in moving project requirements forward and/or understand potential challenges with delivering on project/customer requests
Validate solutions proposed by the project/customer and facilitate regular discussions for commonly configured items such as interfaces (HL7, XML, etc.), data mapping, and prescription label designs
Work intimately with Software Implementation and Engineering team management to clarify scope and priority of work, identify, implement, and consistently evolve “standard processes” for requirements gathering and communications
Ensure Software Implementation and/or Engineering resources have the information they need to design, build, and test configurations and custom deliverables per established timelines
Ensure the work produced by implementation and/or development fulfills the proposed business value of the original features and requirements
Maintain visibility, organization, and prioritization of change requests. Accountable to ensure funded requests are scheduled, and disposition is communicated to appropriate collaborators (PM, CSE, EPM, Platform, Engineering, etc)
Data mining and analysis for ongoing customer optimization/recommendation efforts
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required. A focus in computer science or engineering is a strong plus.
3-5 years career building in related areas with 1+ of those years including project management with proven success, preferably in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
Have strong/current skill leading business requirements meetings, initiatives, process, elicitation throughout the entire business application/workflow/process and software engineering/product engineering life-cycle for an organization with short term, mid-range, and long-term product life-cycles.
Be a master of influence, negotiations, persuasion, and a strong communicator with the ability to articulate all aspects of all issues to all involved parties both verbally, in writing, and through leading meetings and presentations.
Have a strong/current knowledge base of the enterprise application development life-cycle or software engineering/product engineering/product development field, with popular methodologies, process engineering/re-engineering, as is and to be design, documentation, story boarding, layout design, data attributes definition, reporting design, UAT, and project planning, project management processes and standard methodologies.
SQL query reading/writing a strong plus.
Willingness to learn and grow; learn/advance SQL, familiarize with proprietary software language.

Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear, and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
This position may be subject to both outside environmental conditions as well as inside environmental conditions common to a pharmacy or warehouse facility during an installation or site visit
Weekend and overtime and/or overnight work and travel may be required
Travel by car and/or air is occasionally required. Travel may consume 10%-90% of the workday, depending on the destination.
