Description

We are offering fantastic position as a Bookkeeper in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing financial records, handling both accounts payable and receivable, as well as performing various general office duties.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers as part of managing accounts payable.

• Overseeing accounts receivable, which includes invoicing tenants, tracking rent payments, and managing overdue accounts.

• Ensuring the accurate processing of weekly payroll for employees in compliance with relevant regulations.

• Carrying out general office duties such as managing correspondence and answering phones.

• Coordinating and scheduling maintenance visits for properties, and ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Assisting with financial reporting and budgeting tasks as necessary.

• Keeping accurate financial records using QuickBooks Desktop

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar.

• Proficient in using QuickBooks for various accounting functions.

• Solid understanding and application of basic bookkeeping principles.

• Experience with Paychex Payroll system, managing payroll functions effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is desirable.

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all company matters.
