An E&C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Wheaton, WI area. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing major construction contracts ensuring compliance with design specifications and contract terms while also engaging in engineering design, testing, and quality assurance processes.

responsibilities:

• Review and understand all design drawings and specifications related to the project.

• Process and facilitate responses to contractor questions and Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Ensure contractors meet contract terms, conditions, and the Company's requirements.

• Conduct weekly site visits, with potential overnight stays as required.

• Assist with project commissioning and completion roles after construction is finished.

• Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems.

• Develop functional requirements for projects.

• Apply standard engineering principles throughout the project.

• Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate designs.

• Design and test components, ensuring proper integration into the final product.
