Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role involves physical labor, as well as the use of various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process returns and enter them into inventory.

• Receive shipments in VC and distribute them to the correct location in the warehouse.

• Ensure returned materials are labeled correctly.

• Maintain inventory control with correct staging pulls.

• Physically move materials throughout the warehouse, lifting 30-60 pounds consistently.

• Pull items from the warehouse and fill staging areas using the first in, first out method.

• Assist in cycle counts and resolve cycle count discrepancy issues.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.

• Proficiency in inventory management.

• Ability to use RF scanners.

• Experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.

• Skill in order picking and using pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a shipping or receiving role, but general warehouse experience is acceptable.

• Ability to operate a computer for inventory management tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
